Join the upcoming national Garage Sale Trail on Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21.
Over 400,000 people are expected to take part in the annual event and anyone can be involved, from households to schools and even community groups.
Garage Sale Trail relies on the support of local councils and Yass Valley Council is fully behind the event.
In fact, Mayor Rowena Abbey said the Garage Sale Trail presents a fun and social way for council to encourage sustainability and help educate the community about why we all need to take responsibility for the waste we generate.
“Garage Sale Trail also provides a way to meet your neighbours and connect with the broader community whilst decluttering and raising money for yourself or local causes. We're really pleased to be involved in this grassroots event, which, like the reuse movement, is growing year after year.”
The first 1250 sellers who register before September 10 will receive a free seller pack with posters, price tags and more to help maximise sales success.
