I will leave it all to my offspring in my will.
Apart from the BIG STUFF this is what it will look like:
My youngest grand-daughter is to receive the gift of my huge, odd assortment of craft objects...athough she may need to add another room, these will all come in handy one day.
To my dear son I leave all my books – over 3,000, and know he will appreciate and love them as I have – also my beloved large and motley collection of videos, my video recorder and all my music tapes and records.
I hope he will have the devices to play them on. His wife may come to appreciate them one day.
To my beloved daughter I leave 200 recipe books and all the wonderful old crockery, some of which I inherited from my own mother.
Most are singletons, but I know she will love to have them in her cupboards to look at occasionally.
To my oldest grandson I leave the many blue and white ornaments I have collected over the years – not very valuable but very attractive.
He is very musical so I gift to him all my sheet music, some of which may be so old as to be very valuable. I also leave to him my exercise bike which has kept me in good nick for 30 years.
To my oldest grand-daughter I bequeath my 5,000 or so balls and (mostly) part-balls of wool and the many knitting needles and pattern books.
Although she cannot yet knit or crochet there will come a time when she will really appreciate this gift.
She will also receive my large collection of needle gauges and crochet hooks.
My youngest grand-daughter is to receive the gift of my huge, odd assortment of craft objects – assorted papers, feathers, pipe-cleaners, embroidery cottons and aida cloth, cards, pencils, coloured crayons and so on.
Although she may need to add another room, these will all come in handy one day.
To my youngest grandson, who is setting up house, I leave all my kitchen gadgets, many of which have never been used, and the computer which my son has worked hard to keep working for the last 10 years.
There – problem solved!!
