A 38-year old ACT man has been arrested and charged with two collisions on the Barton Highway at Kaveneys Road on the morning of Tuesday, October 9.
The male has been charged with drink driving, reckless driving, resisting arrest and numerous other traffic offences. Police said he would be granted conditional bail to attend Yass Local Court on November 16.
Emergency services were called at about 6.10am on Tuesday to find the male had collided with two vehicles after allegedly crashing with another vehicle in the ACT just prior.
The man was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the Barton Hwy.
Yass Police Station received numerous calls from witnesses, believing the male was deliberately driving towards other vehicles.
The male driver of one of the cars the 38-year-old accused male collided with was taken to Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
Yass Police Inspector Alison Brennan said it was very fortunate that no one was seriously injured.
Any witnesses to the incident are urged to call the Yass Police Station on 6226 9399.
