The men of the committee have participated in Movember, and also a number of businesses around Yass have also got in the growing mood with Luff Motors, Priceline Pharmacy, Ray White Rural Canberra and Yass just to name a few. We have Chris Murphy from Country 2 City Metal Roofing, and a few of the blokes from Luff’s shaving their beards off for the cause also, which is fantastic – we appreciate their efforts.
On Friday, November 23, we’ll see two of our amazing businesses – Strategic Development Group and Six 8 Coffee Roasters – attending the NSW Business Chamber State Awards at Luna Park. We wish them both the best of luck in their respective award categories.
Our committee has had to say goodbye to our secretary Tim Dyke, who has relocated to Melbourne. We wish him every success with his new adventure; he’s served us well in his time. We’ve welcomed Nick Whiting from Superb Marketing as a temporary committee member, and Brooke Watson has stepped in as acting secretary.
We have taken on an initiative from the NSW Business Chamber, aimed at reducing energy bills for business owners, which will see a representative contact business owners to discuss options and how it can be best utilised to assist in saving on energy bills.
Our next networking breakfast will be held at Dolcetto Cafe in Yass on December 7 from 7.30am.
