The numbers all added up at the Can Assist Country Fair at Bowning on Sunday, November 18. Organisers estimated between 800 to 900 people visited and raised $7,000 and some. The total amount will be tallied at Can Assist’s next meeting.

It was the ninth Country Fair the Yass Valley Can Assist branch at the Rollonin Cafe.
“A big thank you to Renata and her team at the Rollonin Cafe for another great country fair,” Yass Valley Can Assist Branch’s Cheryl Scorgie said.
There were bushranger re-enactments by the Gold Trails, rides by Travealy Horse Drawn Carriages, music by the Black Shillings, period costume by Margaret’s Memory Lane, Christmas craft stalls including quilters, a bush carpenter and a blacksmith and a barbecue.
All the money raised goes towards getting local people access to cancer treatment and care.
