Jay's Longest Melanoma March begins this month and will make its way to the Rollonin Cafe in Bowning on May 8, the day that Mrs Barton and Mr Ryan will join Mr Allen for the 37km stretch to Murrumbateman.
The walk will raise awareness and funds to find a cure for melanoma, the third most common cancer in Australia. The brother and sister are completing the challenge in memory of their father, who lost his life to the cancer in 2012.
On Saturday March 16 from 5pm, they will be holding a fundraiser for melanoma at the Rollonin Cafe. The event, Graze The Night Away, is for people aged 15-plus and tickets are $40.
All of the proceeds will go to Melanoma Institute Australia. Mr Allen will be the guest speaker of the evening and music will be provided by James Southwell.
Tickets are available at the cafe and include a grazing table, sweets, water, tea and coffee. Beverages are BYO.
