Whether it's a creative workshop, a music or cultural festival, art exhibition or celebrating our diversity, community events are integral to strengthening, supporting and unifying local communities.
Unfortunately, success or failure ultimately comes down to funding. There are many grant's available to assist in the establishment and maintenance of a wide variety of events and projects, however grant writing can be time-consuming, laborious and downright confusing!
With the Country Arts Support Program (CASP) grants now open for applications, Southern Tablelands Arts will be running grant writing workshops across the region developing your skills in project planning, balancing budgets, developing projects, and writing winning grant applications.
Workshops are best suited to community groups, arts organisations, and those interested in developing or collaborating on arts-based community projects.
While the focus will be on Country Arts Support Program (CASP) Grants, this workshop will benefit anyone wanting to write a grant application.
CASP is a small grants program up to $5,000 for projects administered by Southern Tablelands Arts. Come along and talk to us about your project ideas and develop your skills in grant writing.
The workshop is free and will be held in Yass on Wednesday evening, June 12, from 5-7pm. Places are limited so contact Caitlan on ao@southerntablelandsarts.com.au or 4823 4407 to register.
