The Yass State Emergency Service (SES) Unit was responding to a fallen gum tree blocking a property on Shantalla Crescent, Yass around 10.30am this morning.
Yass Valley Council was also busy removing a large tree on Wargeila Road at Bowning in the earlier hours of the morning.
A report was made to Yass SES around 4am and passed onto the council around 7am.
The tree had blocked the road, but was cleared by 9am.
