She is no long missing, Inspector Matthew Hinton of Yass Police Station said on August 22.
Abbey had gone missing on Wednesday, July 17, when she was last seen at a friend's home on Therry Street, Yass.
Officers from the Hume Police District were notified on Wednesday, July 24 and commenced an investigation to find her.
It was believed she boarded a train from Yass to Wagga Wagga with her 16-year-old boyfriend on July 17.
Police were acting on sightings of Abbey in Wagga three weeks after she went missing.
