They say the greatest gift you can give someone is time and Trijntje Hughes and David Jongeneel have given many hours to support Murrumbateman's youth.

Now, the two scout leaders have been awarded for their dedication to their local group.
They were acknowledged by Chief Scout of Australia, Governor-General David Hurley in the organisation's annual Adult Recognition Awards for Good Service.
Ms Hughes and Mr Jongeneel both received Special Service Awards.
Ms Hughes joined the 1st Murrumbateman Scout Group around five years ago, the same time as her children joined. She said it's a great way to give back to the local community and has gone onto help the Region Scout Youth Council.
"It's really nice to see the children develop their skills in things such as hiking, canoeing and abseiling and to see their confidence grow," Ms Hughes said.
"I've also gained qualifications in hiking and canoeing and have met new people."
Ms Hughes said the award came as a surprise.
"I'm sure none of the leaders work for the award, we're there for the youth," she said.
Ms Hughes was recognised for her passion for scouting and commitment to encouraging youth across the region and state to always perform to the best of their abilities.
"As a mentor for the Region Scout Youth Council, she has been instrumental in its success," Scouts NSW said.
"Ms Hughes listens diligently to the youth members and works tirelessly to harness the support of other leaders to deliver positive outdoor experiences."
Mr Jongeneel was instrumental in driving the Murrumbateman Scout Hall project, which will be a major contributor to the ongoing success of the 1st Murrumbateman Scout Group, Scouts NSW said.
"Over more than two years, his vision, construction skills, selfless hard work, organisation and enthusiasm were major enablers of his achievements with the project."
The contribution of the leaders to scouting in Murrumbateman was also acknowledged by Riverina Scouts Region commissioner Ian Petty.
"The dedication and commitment of these leaders to scouting and the development of our youth is outstanding, and they are both very deserving of their awards," Mr Petty said.
"These leaders selflessly devote their time and energy to scouts for the benefit of others. While they aren't in scouting for the accolades, it's great they have been recognised for the positive impact they have on the lives of so many young people," he said.
Ms Hughes and Mr Jongeneel will be presented with their awards at a ceremony in Wagga Wagga later in the year.
