The game which is likely to draw the most attention will be the clash between the Gundaroo Goats and the Yass Golf Club Cobras.
This is because the Cobras were only recently formed, when the Piranhas and Snipers amalgamated after last season.
As the Snipers and Piranhas have consistently been two of the top teams in recent years, spectators will be fascinated to see what comes of their integration.
Snipers stalwart and former captain, Dave Field, said that the Cobras will field a "bit of an older team" in 2019/20.
"A few of the younger guys moved away, but it should still be competitive."
With a more experienced and populous team this year, Field is pleased that they will not have to search for players as has been the case recently.
"It should be good, we shouldn't have to chase numbers this year hopefully," he said. "It should be a good year, something different."
The match between the Cobras and the Goats will take place at Victoria Park, which in itself could be a wildcard, as it is under the control of a new groundsman.
"Playing on Victoria Park for the first game, it'll be interesting to see how it plays," Field said.
"It could be a pretty open game ... Gundaroo are always competitive."
The Goats, who finished sixth in last year's A/B Grade competition, will certainly have to work hard.
In the other A/B Grade fixtures, the Boorowa Crocs will take on the Yass Bowling Club Pirates in Boorowa on Saturday, while Bowning will play Murrumbateman and the Dalton Dingos have a bye.
In C Grade, the Yass Golf Club Taipans will play the Bookham Bulls at O'Connor Park, the Harden Hornets will take on the Boorowa Gators at Tim Doolan Oval, and the Harden Bowling Club will face the Clubhouse Horns at Roberts Park and the Binalong Bushrangers have the bye.
All matches on Saturday, October 19, will get underway from 12.30pm.
