The performance is the Largest Amateur Variety Act in the Guinness World Records, starring 5500 school students from across New South Wales.
Yass Public, Binalong Public, Berinba Public and Yass High School will feature in Schools Spectacular's 2700-voice choir.
The students have learnt 24 songs and were practising for weeks in the lead-up.
Berinba Public's 19 students, who left for Schools Spectacular on Tuesday with teachers Louise Armour and Sharman Dawes, said their favourite songs included At The Edge, Welcome to Wonderland, The Finale, 90s Flashback and Survivor.
The school has performed in Schools Spectacular for a staggering 13 years.
However, it will be a totally new experience for Binalong Public students who auditioned for the first time in February and were accepted in May.
"It's an honour. It's always an exciting day," Binalong Public's relieving principal Diane Hickey said.
"I think it's life-changing for the students to stand among that many performers. They will never forget it," she said.
Yass Public travelled with Binalong Public to Schools Spectacular. It has 12 students taking part in the performance for the fourth year.
Yass High has 23 students taking part and one of those students will be backstage with the technical crew as part of Schools Spectacular's entertainment studies crew.
As well as the choir, Schools Spectacular will feature 40 featured performers, a 100-piece symphony orchestra, stage band, 22,300 dancers, the D'Arts Ensemble disability program, Aboriginal Dance Company and puppets.
The fast-paced show will transition through a colourful choreographed kaleidoscope of music from pop and hip hop to the classics, from a crescendo of massed voices to stunning solos, and a full spectrum of dance styles.
Every Schools Spectacular has a theme and this year it's 'stars'.
Each segment will relate to the theme, featuring songs including When You Wish Upon a Star and Would You Like to Swing on a Star and favourites from Wizard of Oz.
