They were 1.5-year-old, first-cross ewes.
The Champion Highest Priced Pen sold to Peter Southwell of Fairview at Bookham.
Boobalaga's second pen made $318 p/h.
Vendor John O'Brien had run the first-cross ewes on his better paddocks and had been supplementary feeding, agent Greg Anderson of MD & JJ Anderson said.
Mr Anderson said his vendor - who would normally sell at this time of year - had maintained a good weight in his stock considering the lack of pastures.
"The sale was to be as expected, the better ewes made good money," Mr Anderson said.
SELX manager Rick Maslin said the sale went well considering the current conditions.
However, he said buyers were missing from fire-affected areas such as Braidwood and vendor numbers were slightly down with people out fighting the fires.
"The condition of the stock was good overall. They were showing signs of the long, dry summer - their skin is starting to dry out," Mr Maslin said.
All up, 3289 head of 1-5-year-old ewes topped at $328 to average $210, while the 1808 ewe lambs topped at $280 to average $133.
Total yarding was 5765, 2745 less than the same sale in January 2019.
Harry O'Brien of Glen Erin Partnership, Grabben Gullen won Champion Presented Pen of 1.5-year-old ewes, which sold for $268 p/h through Duncombe & Co.
Heather and Will Kember of Gleneth, Ganmain won Champion Presented Pen of Ewe Lambs, which sold for $280 p/h through Elders.
The next SELX special first-cross ewe sale is in November.
