After starting the season with modest hopes, the Boorowa Crocs have slowly but steadily become serious contenders for the 2019/20 Triggs Shield.

After their first six matches, the Crocs had two wins and four losses to their name.
But in recent weeks, the Boorowa boys have gone on a hot streak and won their last five matches.
While their batting has been the standout throughout the season, the last two rounds in particular have seen the Crocs' bowling come to the fore.
After its blitz began with three wins, Boorowa faced its most serious challenge on February 8 against the Yass Golf Club Cobras at Victoria Park.
In a low-scoring encounter, the Crocs restricted the Cobras to a total of just 83 and reached the target with two wickets to spare in a breathtaking finish.
This was arguably the biggest upset of the season, and was soon followed last weekend by a more conventional win from Boorowa against the Gundaroo Goats.
Played at the Boorowa Sports Ground, the home team got off to an ideal start by winning the toss and electing to bat first.
With only ten men on the team sheet, the Crocs may have started with a disadvantage, but their indefatigable batsmen came through once again to guide the team to a total of exactly 200.
It was the second time in the season that Boorowa had scored in excess of 200, and the sixth time the team has exceeded 150.
In a competition where teams are often different week to week and low scores are relatively common, the Crocs' batting consistency is remarkable.
But Boorowa's high scoring has not been the sole secret to its success. In recent weeks, its bowling lineup has picked up in consistency and been able to restrict opposition sides.
In fact, Gundaroo's 165 on Saturday is the highest score against Boorowa since the Crocs' loss to Bowning on November 30.
As the Buffaloes and the Cobras both recorded wins on Saturday as well, Boorowa will remain in third place on the ladder.
But with only one round of the regular season remaining, the Crocs can be reasonably confident of a spot in finals, barring a disastrous result this weekend against the Dalton Dingos.
The Dingos, placed one spot below Boorowa, are tied with Gundaroo (in fifth) on 68 points, meaning they will be desperate for a win over the Crocs on Saturday.
It will make for scintillating viewing, with two of the most explosive batting lineups in the competition ready to fire.
The Crocs will play the Dingos at Dalton Oval on Saturday, February 22. Round 14 of Yass A and B Grade cricket will also feature the Cobras against the Buffaloes at Victoria Park and the Murrumbateman Blues up against the Yass Pirates in Murrumbateman.
All matches will begin at 12.30pm.
