Prime Minister Scott Morrison has told his colleagues he is a "full termer," dampening speculation he could ride the high of good polling results to an early election.

In a speech to Liberal and National MPs on Tuesday, Mr Morrison cautioned them about "complacency in good times".
Following a week of campaigning in Queensland with state opposition leader Deb Frecklington, the Prime Minister said the timing of a federal election was the furthest thing from his mind, as it had been in March when he fielded questions on it.
"I'm a full termer, elections are too hard to win," he said.
He called on colleagues to maintain discipline and unity and not be distracted or to allow their work rate to drop off.
The government's mostly successful response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the economic recovery so far have boosted prospects for the Coalition, but Mr Morrison warned that political cycles go through "bad times and good times".
