The FA Cup winners dropped into Europe's new third tier event following a defeat to Napoli in their final game prompting manager Brendan Rodgers to admit he knew nothing about the competition.
Celtic were pitted against Norway's Bodo/Glimt who beat Jose Mourinho's Roma 6-1 at home and drew 2-2 in Rome to get through the group stage.
The draw pitted demoted third-placed teams from the Europa League against Conference League group runners-up, with the ties' winners advancing into the last 16 against Conference League group winners.
One tie is yet to be confirmed as either Vitesse Arnhem or Tottenham will play Rapid Vienna.
Spurs' last group game against Rennes could not be played owing to a coronavirus outbreak at the English side, an alternate date before December 31 could be found, and the decision now lies with the ruling body UEFA.
Spurs are three points behind Vitesse but would have been second with a victory of any kind against Rennes.
