The strong growth and vigour of the beautifully presented Stormon garden at 4 Hatton Drive, Yass, shows just how much can be done in a relatively short time.
Silver birches, crab apples, Manchurian pears and Seduction roses feature throughout, with soft blues, silvers and whites creating a restful colour scheme.
Developed from scratch over a 30-year period, the beautiful garden at ‘Blackburn’, 1357 Cooks Hill Road, Yass, is tranquil, cool and green.
Regal white poplars underplanted with agapanthus lead into this colourful garden - an old-fashioned floral feast of foxgloves, lupins, poppies, forget-me-nots, banksias roses and larkspurs.
Huge English elm trees, thought to be the oldest in Australia, shade and shelter the 1820s ‘Collingwood’ homestead at 2312 Cullerin Road, Gunning.
A true country garden, it features irises, roses, lavender, rock roses, honesty and sage.
Please note the open garden planned at ‘Kirkwood Cottage’ this weekend has now been cancelled.
