It was Band Of Brothers - Bring the Sisters, and what a day of people from all churches, and those who don’t even go to church, to get together as a united band.
We had well over 100 people in attendance for a complimentary full breakfast and a great time of mateship and fellowship.
It was held at St Clements hall but we move our breakfasts between just about all the church venues in Yass, month by month.
Friends, we had an awesome speaker, Pastor Barry Follett from Living Waters church on the central coast. He talked about living and embracing an extraordinary life as a practising Christian.
It was fantastic to see Catholics, Baptists, Uniting, Anglican, Pentecostals (Vine Church) and many others all enjoying each others company.
Psalm 133 tells us "Behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers (and sisters) dwell together in unity… For there God commands the blessings".
I believe, as do many others, that Yass is a key town, strategically placed and a gateway to our nations capital. The unity that is growing between our churches is the catalyst for a great harvest of people into faith in Christ. We anticipate it, we can taste it, we can almost feel revival coming and when it does come the unity between all Christians will ensure that it is enduring and precious.
Thank you to all who attended our great event.
For those men who may never have been but would like to come to Band Of Brothers December breakfast please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can give you all the details and you are most welcome. God bless to you all and let’s press on in the vision that God has for our town, our region and beyond.
