Yass High School was one of 13 schools that was visited by three of Australia's most inspiring people on Thursday morning, as part of the Australian of the Year Awards Tour of Honour, hosted by the NSW Australia Day Council.
Yass firefighters have been taking life-saving winter home fire safety advice out into their community as part of Fire & Rescue NSW’s (FRNSW) Operation ‘Cold Snap’ - a fortnight-long campaign to educate people about home fire risks.
The 15 Korean exchange students packed their bags and head back to their Hogye Middle School in Seoul yesterday. The students had a wonderful time visiting among other places the zoo and Parliament house. Yass High Students are already looking forward to their visit later this year.
