He had 63 nett and followed it up with a stableford win on Sunday, winning with 42 points.
Weir managed to hold off last month’s Guzzler John Watt by one shot to get the last ticket for March’s Super Guzzler.
This weekend marks the start of another pennant season with A Reserve team taking on Federal at home, while the B Scratch side travel to Gungahlin Lakes. Good luck to all the sides for the season and there will be reports coming.

Dad’s Army January 31
The Dad’s Army troops found conditions a little harder than the past few weeks, with not so much run on the course after the heavy rain last weekend.
However, Graham ‘The Ladevale Lad’ Howlett wasn’t worried and finished with a very commendable 22 points. He was three points clear of his nearest rival who was Les Puckett on 19 points, then Clive Phillips 18 points and, after a three way count back, Ian Bluett, with 16 points.
They collected the three balls that were on offer this week. The scoring ranged from a high of 22 down to 12 points.
In Business House competition last week Dad’s Army received one point for turning up and this week a score of 126.5 was recorded.
Until next week good golfing 'boys'.
