Every Tuesday morning at the Bowning Village Hall from 10am to 12pm the CWA Room door will opened by our local 'Wool Crafters' group. For all those interested in textiles, weaving, felting knitting, any craft wool related.
It is a lot of fun learning to dye fibres, even making jewellery with textiles; you would be surprised what can be done with our countries finest export. Come have coffee, a chat and learn something new or share your knowledge.
An antique auction is to take place on Sunday March 3. As well as a good find in the treasure department there will also be hot food/barbecue and drinks on sale for all those who can’t go past the smell of cooking snags and onions.
All proceeds from food sales help support the ongoing maintenance of the hall.
Thank-you to the community member who has kindly volunteered their time to help with reading each week.
Mini Music at the School on Tuesdays mornings is up and running again. The morning consists of music fun with babies and toddlers along with morning tea.
It is great to see new faces come along and join in the fun. It starts between 9.15am and 9.30am so parents have time to drop their children off to school, whether it be Bowning or else where (we are not more than 10 mins from Yass), and finishes at 11am.
