The Yass Branch of the Australian Red Cross would like to advise garden lovers that although no longer a part of the Classic Yass Festival in November we will still be holding our annual Open Gardens. This year we have two magnificent country gardens, Gavin and Janice Walker’s at Ledgerton on the Mountain Creek Road, and Andrew and Leonie Leonard’s at Mulliondale on the Esdale Road. The gardens will be open on the Sunday, November 16 between 10am - 4pm and an invitation is extended to all garden enthusiasts and Yass residents to come out and enjoy a day in the country.
Open Gardens Australia
"Silverdale" a garden belonging to Bimbi and Kim Turner at 200 Lachlan Valley Way, and "Olwem" belonging to Jim and Erica Cuthbertson at 533 Yass River Road will open to the public on November 8 and 9 for people to enjoy. It is a chance to raise funds for Yass Can Assist and Bookham-Berremangra Red Cross and Hospital Auxiliary.
