On behalf of the Leukaemia Foundation, I would like to thank your readers who participated and supported the riders who came through Yass to help raise funds for the Foundation and the John James Village in Canberra.
The generosity of the community and those who participated in the Lifecycle event has helped us raise $57,000.
The funds will directly support people living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and also contribute to the development of the purpose-built respite facility for regional Australians undergoing treatment at Canberra Hospital.
The Leukaemia Foundation is also proud to announce a land grant at Garran by the ACT Government. This important milestone will allow work on the John James Village early in 2015 and expected to take 12 months to complete.
On behalf of all those diagnosed and their families who will be supported as a direct result of the support and participation, thank you.
