I am available to talk to community members regarding the Fit for the Future Meeting from now until May 13, which is when Councillors will be holding a meeting at the Bowning Hall. Before attending the meeting, I suggest pulling a group of friends together and working through the priorities you feel needs addressing in our community. Don’t be shy for every opinion deserves a voice and this is most important. Think about services in which you believe could be better maintained, requires less attention and services you believe we as a community could do without. Keep in mind keeping rates at a reasonable percentage all depends on the outlook of the entire community. Take this seriously and really pull together with discussions and comments you wish to put forward.

Mother’s Day
Keep in mind Mother’s Day is approaching and the slogan shop locally still runs strong, we have wonderful gift ideas and plenty for Mother’s Day meals available. The Galleries around Bowning deserve a visit whilst spending precious time with mum.
School Safety Signs
As has been requested for many years now, Bowning Public now has the 40km safety flash signs. I am happy to see this has happened and hope to see more improvements around our village. Any further comments or ideas for safety requirements please advise and every move will be made to take further steps forward.
Bowning Public School Anzac March
I would like to express how wonderful it was to see our little school partaking in the Anzac March. Once again students were gracious and respectful, I congratulate the students, teachers and parents.
