With the sponsorship backing of Yass Valley Tyre Service, Jones Transport Yass, Yass Firewood Supplies and EFI Spares, Scorgie is planning to do more travelling away from his home track, Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway, in order to continue the learning curve.
“I’m really looking forward to this weekend and being able visit a new track and gain more experience,” the 29-year-old racer said.
Scorgie has just one goal this weekend.
“I just want to try and make the feature race and anything after that is going to be a bonus.
“I have only ever raced once away from Valvoline Raceway, which was Goulburn Speedway, in a Sprintcar, so this is going to be a new challenge for my team and I, but it’s one that we’re all looking forward to.”
Scorgie would like to say a special thanks to fellow racer Blake Skipper for taking his car up to Hi-Tec Oils Speedway in their team’s transporter.
Apart from visiting Hi-Tec Oils Speedway this weekend, Scorgie plans later in the season to travel down to Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway in Victoria for the Grand Annual Classic and the Australian Title double header.
