Whether you are a member of the Business Chamber or not, Friday is a perfect chance for locals to get down to the Murrumbateman Inn to experience the pub’s first and only breakfast, starting at 7:30am.
This month the Yass Valley Business Chamber will focus on Murrumbateman and the potential benefits for the whole region from the growth in the village.
President of the Chamber, Michael Pilbrow, encourages all business owners in Murrumbateman, and across the Yass Valley, to come along.
“This is a very important networking event as it will be held in the thriving village of Murrumbateman. The Yass Valley is one of the fastest-growing areas in NSW and Murrumbateman is the fastest-growing part of the Yass Valley”, Mr Pilbrow said.
“At the breakfast we will hear from some local Murrumbateman businesses about the growth of Murrumbateman and the opportunities this presents for all businesses in the Yass Valley”.
Local small business owner Rob Rice said that over the last five years the area of Murrumbateman has increased significantly.
“We have had a great increases in rural residential properties and there has been a proportionate increase in service in the area,” Mr Rice said.
“It’s not only services like the pharmacy and dentist, but this increase has also been in community groups, like the dance academy and karate. This is great for the community in Murrumbateman, but it also strengthens corporation between our satellite towns and the plethora of services being offered.”
Members of the Business Chamber encourage people on their way to work in Canberra, or those interested in the discussion, to stop in for a sensational breakfast and chat about the future of their community.
The Chamber already has some very committed members based in Murrumbateman, and is looking forward to many more joining and adding to the valuable networking that is already taking place.
If you would like to come to the breakfast, you can RSVP by email to info@yassbusiness.com.au. Cost is $25. For general enquiries about the Chamber, call Michael Pilbrow on 0418 405 489.
