Bowning Babble
With Connie Elliott
Saying goodbye to another long lived Bowning resident, Mrs Eccles. Mrs Eccles was once my land lord and a warm and caring village friend, many years have passed since that time but her warmth will always shine through, may she rest in peace. The community’s deepest sympathies go to Eccles family and friends.

Community Volunteers
In and around our community there are many different areas in which residents can lend a hand to keep our village beautiful. Nature strips are an easy start, but there are also the Bowning signs located at both entries off the highway. These can always do with a weed or trim. Rubbish on the side of the road at the Bowning entry and floating around the streets, park and oval are a great way to help out quietly. Many a working bees are organised through the village so be sure to check the Notice Board down at Edith’s Store.
