“Thanks to the many hours put in from the greens staff and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it happen,” event organiser Neville Mathews said.
In Saturday’s stableford event, the A grade prize went to Graham Fleming with his 36 points to win on a countback from the current Guzzler Robby Furner. In the B grade, a count back was also required with Neville Matthews coming out on top from Donnie Douglas, with them coming in with 38 points.
In Sunday’s stableford event, it was Phil White who posted the best score of the weekend with 39 points to take the prize money, which was a well-deserved victory for Phil, who has spent many hours mowing around the course of late.
The previously postponed events have now been rescheduled. The Club Championships are now marked to start on the third week of November and the 4BBB Championships will be held on December 17.

Saturday October 15: Stableford Event.
Winners: A grade: Graham Fleming (10) 36 points Ocb. B grade: Nev Matthews (18) 38 points Ocb. The Australian Hotel nearest the pins went to, Tony Bayley 105cm on the 8th and Wayne Wilson 140cm on the 16 th hole. The Yass Valley Tyre Service 11 th hole went Michael Bell 284cm and the Yass Golf Club 15 th hole, Calcutta tickets went to Nic Carmody with a shot to 350cm.
Sunday October 16: Stableford Event.
Winner: Phil White (8) 39 points. Ball winners: Phil White 39, N Matthews, P Matthews 38, W Wilson 37, T Smith and M Coggan 35 points. The nearest the pin on the 16 th went to Michael Walker 67cm.
Mid-Week Competition to October 16.
Winner: Wilbur Whyte (11) 21 points Ocb. Ball winners: W Wilson 21, W Whyte 21, E Mongan 20. M Ballard and J McDonald 19 points.
Business House Competition Warm Up to October 14.
