Police are appealing for information regarding a break and enter at Joe O’Connor Park between Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19. Entry to the kiosk was gained by kicking in a roller door, but nothing was stolen. Anyone with information may call Yass Police, 6226 9399.

Unknown persons also broke into the Jeir Rural Fire Service shed on Dog Trap Road sometime between March 15 and March 16. A vehicle was used to ram a roller door and a petrol pump was stolen. Forensic police attended and conducted investigations. Call Yass Police with information.
STRIKE FORCE
Police are investigating fires in the Yass area, believed to be suspicious and linked. Strike Force Scatter is investigating rural fires between October and March 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. The most recent have been six fires since Saturday, December 31, 2016. Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
