The signs of stroke are:
- F: Face drooping. Ask the person to smile, and see if one side is drooping.
- A: Arm weakness. Ask the person to raise both arms.
- S: Speech difficulty.
- T: Time to call 000!
The next meeting of Yass Day VIEW will be on Tuesday, April 11 at the Yass Golf Club. Please be there at 11.30am, so the meeting can begin at 11.45am. Please inform Mary Abernethy (62261559) of any guests and apologies before 6pm on Sunday, April 9. Our guest speaker will be Libby Smith from Alzheimer’s Australia.
The outing to The Old Tuggeranong Schoolhouse on March 21 was most enjoyable.

Pedestrian access mobility plan
Council is currently preparing its Pedestrian Access Mobility Plan (PAMP) and Bike Plan and is seeking input from various sources within the community to gauge a broad understanding of the needs of residents.

Two of Australia’s leading community organisations, Lifeline and SANE Australia, have today announced they are working in partnership to support people with mental health concerns through shared online peer support forums. The SANE Online Forums have been integrated into Lifeline’s website and provide a safe and anonymous online space for individuals, families, friends and carers with mental health concerns.
