This means the Magpies retain their place in the top half of the ladder, and they will be looking to maintain that ranking going into the last rounds of the season.
This Friday night Yass will take on Goulburn at the Workers Arena, in a second-versus-fourth clash which will be crucial to the Magpies’ finals hopes.
The only challenge for the Magpies will be their injury troubles, as they have recently lost players to shoulder and knee surgeries.
This will heap the pressure on the remaining team members, as the match against Goulburn will be followed by clashes against Tuggeranong and West Belconnen, both of whom will be looking to spoil Yass’s party.
