News from Binalong and Gunning

Binalong

TOMMY Glover was a member of the South West District team that won the President's Cup for the first time at Gundagai at the weekend. Wayne Trethowan, also from Binalong, was in the team declared the best over-all with four wins and one loss. Perhaps that will encourage a bowls revival at Binalong. Any ladies interested in learning the game please contact A Glover on 62274213 or the club 62274241.

BINALONG golf men's tournament is on August 26-27. Mixed Medley 18 holes on Saturday, commencing at 12.30pm, cost $15. Men's 18 holes Sunday at 10am, cost $20. Sausage sizzle at nine holes, afternoon tea. Scratch and handicap trophies nearest  pins and longest drive.
