Why do country people die earlier?
Death comes sooner in the apparently healthy country areas. Heart attacks are more common and cancer is seen too much. Probably because health services are not as freely available compared with the cities, and it is quicker to get to a major hospital. We do not have the same proportion of doctors as in the cities, maybe the city lights have more attractions or maybe there just are not enough doctors.

What made Henry VIII fearful
There was a disease descriptively called “The Sweat” which came up during the War of the Roses when Henry’s father overturned the Plantagenets. Maybe it came with the mercenary troops Henry employed. The Sweat could kill in a day, and Henry VIII would flee from London when there was an outbreak. He did not get it, Catherine of Aragon survived, but Henry’s older brother Arthur died from it. Then it disappeared. We seem to have avoided plagues, the last was after the First World War when Influenza killed more people than the war did.
Treating joint pain
I am seeing too many people with painful bodies, sometimes arthritis, sometimes from injuries, like football. We need a therapeutic heated pool. People who can afford it have had their own installed. The council has had this proposal before it in the past and has avoided the need. It is a proper thing for council to use some of its wealth in helping a growing part of the community.
