“The day will be full of fancy food, fun and fast fillies,” YHA president Jean Frost said.
Menu planners Lyn Polsen Val Jewell said there would be big demand for the new recipes ‘on show’ for the lunch, which might even end up with a second edition to the HA first recipe book.
Members of YHA involve themselves in many fundraising activities each year but this is the big one.
No effort is spared to ensure everyone has a great day and every dollar helps ensure much needed equipment is bought for our local hospital which helps ensure the hardworking staff can deliver the best service possible.
The records show that this winter, members of the Yass community have called upon the Hospital Services in greater numbers than usual.
Once again, YHA is delighted that Boots and Buckles and Abbey Footwear have chosen to support the day through donating prizes and providing the fashions for the parade.
The generosity of these two business cannot be emphasised enough as they contribute so much to the success of the event.
All the food is donated by YHA members and students from Yass High hospitality class will help serve.
This is your opportunity to show your support for our local Hospital.
Buy yourself a great day out for only $30 and know your money will be kept local and will support your local health facility.
Numbers are limited so book a table first and then rally your friends.
Tickets are available now from Abbey Footwear.
See you in your finery at the Bowling Club on the first Tuesday in November from 11.30am.
