Geoff Frost, Yass Valley councillor and president of Yass Valley Can Assist, said they raised about $5000.
“It was great, it went really well. There were lots of activities and they really enjoyed themselves,” Cr Frost said.
“That’s enough for us to continue operations for another month,” he said.
He went to talk to most stallholders and said they provided positive feedback.
“They all had a good day and were pleased,” he said.
Cr Frost also thanked Renata Ryan, owner of Rollonin Cafe, for her dedication to the cause.
“Renata’s the lady who puts her heart and soul in this. The Ryan family is brilliant – they put the effort in and we just turn up,” he said.
