I am continually amazed at what I believe to be the arrogance of the Liberal Party and in particular the Liberal candidate for Hume and the retiring sitting member, Alby Schultz.
It seems to me these two have decided that the Liberals have already won the seat of Hume so the ‘heir to the throne’ may as well start getting some practice at official functions ahead of his inauguration.
This time it was the recent Australia Day ceremony. Last time it was Goulburn’s 150th celebrations.
It makes me wonder if impersonating a dignitary is some kind of offence because at this stage he has no more social standing than me or you or the 70-year-old lady in the nursing home down the road.
Perhaps the voters of Hume should take note that if the man displays this type of behaviour over 30 weeks out from the election, imagine how arrogant he will become if elected.
