However the Agricultural Bureau felt although the sheep were wet the show would go on!
The art and photography exhibitions were well supported, with 28 entries in the Open Art and 24 junior entries; and 120 entries in the photography section

Philip Cox and Richard Glover were delighted with the number and standard of the entries in the Photography section, which was generously sponsored by Barney's of Bookham.
Many thanks to John Buckmaster for coming to judge the Vegetable and Fruit display and congratulations to all the successful entrants in the Junior Floral Saucer and Decorated Arrowroot Biscuits.
The winner of the Bookham Red Cross and Hospital Auxiliary Hamper raffle was Mrs Judy Merriman.
We would like to thank the Rotary Club and Kim Turner for sponsoring the jumping castle, which is always great entertainment for the children. Also to the stall holders for supporting the day and the members for giving their time selling raffle tickets and supplying cakes, slices and scones for the Cake table and the Devonshire tea and Neville and Peter for manning the BBQ.

No sheep, no matter (head/bold)
Although the recent rain put an end to the display of the sheep at the Annual Bookham Sheep Show, the art and photography competitions went ahead as scheduled.
Photography Steward Phil Cox said it was an unqualified success.
"As a result of the Cobbler Road fire in 2013, we were unable to hold the show last year," he said.
"However, our photo entries were well up on the 2012 figure at 106, which was an improvement on the Bowning Competition in 2013 when entries totalled 88 photos."
James Shannon, of the art section was equally impressed.
"We displayed roughly 60 exhibits in our art section and I was thrilled with the standard of work at this show, in particular the paintings by our junior exhibitors. I always love to see the junior contributions," he said.
Phil and James were also full of praise for the show's sponsors Barneys Café and Love Photography.
Darryl from Barney's has generously offered to display the winning photos in his café at Bookham for another two weeks. If you missed the competition at Bookham there is still the opportunity to see some of the winning shots.
The RS Williams Medal for 2014 was won with a portrait by Geoff Henderson of Binalong. The 1PPP trophy for journalists was won by Katharyn Brine of the Yass Tribune for her cover shot of Terry and Michelle Apps.
