Along with meeting many new neighbours we were graced with the presence of Siobhan McGrath who performed with her smooth accompanying guitarist and her on the ball sound man, this was youth at its best. Can Assist provided a barbecue, tasty soup as well as tea and coffee. The Bowning Hotel donated canned drinks for the evening and sweet and savoury plates arrived with the guests, it was quite the feast. After that all of the Bowning youth took to the stage and admiringly sang with Siobhan then went on to sing duets, solos and showed off some intense dance moves.
I would like to thank the Bowning Hall Association for the use of the hall, those who helped prepare for the evening, those who helped on the evening and those guests who attended. It was a combined effort which led to a wonderful experience.
