Those in Bowning on Sunday November 2 are in for a treat, with Craig Giles set to perform at the Rollonin Café from 12-4pm. Any tickets purchased prior to the date will cost $5 each but on the day tickets will rise to $10 each. Proceeds go to Can Assist which is a cause that helps so many families struggling through this terrible illness.

Fire Station Open Day
Bowning Fire Station will be open to the public and information all the family will benefit from will be available, also any of those questions you have and always wanted to ask but never actually gotten around to it; this is the perfect day. From 10am tomorrow come to the station on Leake Street and find out how to protect your family and property this coming fire season.

Holiday Program
Holidays are fast approaching so if you are looking for something fun and creative for your primary school-aged children to do; look no further than Bowning. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday September 22,23 and 24 the CWA Room will be filled with laughter and fun. Opening at 9am running through to 3pm the days will consist of art and drama. Reminder of opening times in Bowning
A lot of locals are unsure of opening times around the village so here is an update. Edith’s General Store is open from 8.30am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 8.30am-12pm on Sundays. Rollonin Café is open Thursday-Monday 8.30am-4pm. Mayfield Mews is open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm. Old and Lovely Antiques from Thursday–Sunday 10am-4pm. The Bowning Hotel Monday-Friday 3pm-close and Saturday-Sunday 11.30am-close. The hotel's counter lunches are available Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-2pm and the Restaurant Wednesday-Saturday from 6pm with bookings.
Mobile Library
The Yass Mobile Library will be at Edith’s next Wednesday September 17 from 3-4pm.
