Steve Curtis the man behind the financials at the golf club, thought he should take another financial move into Guzzling which can be quite lucrative to the well pronounced. Although it was Steve’s first time guzzling, I'm sure he will work it out and find plenty of members to fill that mug. Congratulations go to Steve and also to the other winners in the On Trend Clothing Guzzlers Mug competition, being Wilbur Whyte who took out the A-grade with his 64, Jamie Roche who collected the B-grade with his 65 and Steve won the C-grade with 61 net.
In Sunday's stableford competition Mick Coggan made the most of the day, coming in with 41 points to take the money.
The 2014 Luff Cup (four ball best ball (4BBB) match play competition) is coming to a head, with the last of the preliminary matches having been contested last Saturday. It was a close match with Adam Danilczak and Mitch Grange winning 2 and 1 over Phil White and Tim Kelly. In doing so they have earned a spot in the final against Rob Field and Gerard Kerin, in what is sure to be another tight contest.
With daylight saving nearing, so too is the commencement of the Business House Competition, which is a weekday teams event, so if you are interested in fielding a side please get in contact with Kirk at the pro-shop.

Doug was hard pushed by Les Puckett with 16 points while Rick Jackson and Ian Bluett with 15 points each survived a four way count to collect the three balls on offer.
