There will be music by the Yass Acoustic Club, a barbecue hosted by the Yass Masonic Lodge and stalls showcasing the many fabulous local clubs and groups in our valley.
Stallholders include the Yass Quick Quilters, Yass Photography Group, Can Assist, Qi-Gong, Friends of Cooma Cottage, Yass and District Garden Club, Yass Antique Motor Club, Yass Community Garden, Yass Landcare, Yass Probus and the Yass Mens Shed.
Now complete with new carpet, fresh paint, new blinds, a small stage and seating the centre can now be hired and used by community groups, exercise classes, music groups, hobby clubs, sports clubs and any other group looking for a community space.
Yass Valley Council Business Services Manager Tony Stevens is pleased the months of planning and renovating are now complete.
“We are now pleased that with the invaluable help of many volunteers and donations the Centre is up and running and we hope to see many residents on Saturday enjoying the open day.”
