Yass Valley local Thomas Carey performed out of his skin at the NSW Catholic Primary School swimming titles recently.

He swam an almost two second personal best to win the 50m freestyle and a four second personal best to win the bronze medal in the 50m butterfly.
The following week he travelled back to Homebush to compete in the NSW PSSA swimming championships. He swam two more personal bests and came 13th overall in both events. Thomas is coached by Sheree Bush at the Yass Swim Acadamy and would also like to thank Sheree for her support.
