Yass bowlers win pennants in Canberra

Under difficult weather conditions, the women rallied together to win 42 to 36. It's a massive achievement for a small rural club to even make the grand final. The teams consisted of Kylie Besgrove, Reo Bruce, Spud Scott and Sue Bush, and Helen MacArthur, Marg Callaghan, Kate Hunt and Jesus Keith. Plus our two reserves Maureen Hall and Georgia Grieg.

Thank you to all of you who travelled over and supported the team. The girls celebrated very well back at the Yass Bowling Club.
