The best the rest of the challengers could come up with was 68s leaving the pair with a comfortable win of over 4 shots. Well done to Lachlan and Gerard on their win and a big thanks to Mick Carey from Mac Digital for the continued sponsorship of the event.
In Sunday’s Monthly Super Sunday Stroke event sponsored by Firth Furnishing, it was Wayne Biddle that was the victor on a countback from Callan Kemp with their 64 netts. The Super pin on the day went to Ryan Greig, who managed to pick up the pool of cash on the 16th, with a shot to two and half metres. Well done to Wayne and Ryan on their wins. This weekend we have a couple of Stableford events, then next weekend it is once again time for the On Trend Clothing Guzzlers Mug competition. Hope to see you on the course.

Dad’s Army Competition for July 16
There was a shortage of troops in the Dad's Army competition last week with only eight players facing the starter, on what was a bit of a chilly start and it was Doug ‘Down The Middle’ Oldfield's 15 points that saw him survive the count back and take the money from Graham Howlett who collected the only ball on offer. Scoring ranged from 15 down to 11 points.
Until next week good golfing ‘boys’.
