Rugged up and hugged up against a typically wintry day, sausages sizzling on barbecues drew watering mouths and willing wallets to the fore.
They know they live in a bell-wether seat, so the people of Eden Monaro now sit back, satiated with sausage and democracy to await the elected outcome.
