He pleaded guilty to the driving while cancelled charge.
The court heard that on September 29 Magistrate Doug Dick at Yass had imposed a 12 month jail term (with a non-parole period of five months) on Martin for a breaching section-nine bonds for driving offences.
Martin lodged an appeal on the severity of this sentence. In Goulburn Court on Wednesday, Magistrate Carolyn Huntsman granted Martin conditional bail provided that he lives in Yass and reports to police three times a week.
His matter has been adjourned to the Goulburn District Court for call over on November 7.
