The fitness station clusters, constructed around the Riverbank Park precinct, adds additional health and wellbeing facilities for the community.
It was a project that began in 2014–15 over a glass of wine and made possible by the combined efforts of YVC, local businesses and community organisations.
YVC said it plans to conduct an official opening, which is set for February or March in 2017. An official date will be set and the public will be notified.
YVC thanks all those involved in making this project possible: Federal Government (grant), Yass Rotary, Bendigo Bank, Lions Club, Mt Carmel School, Yass Runners, Yass Rams Rugby Club, Yass Football Club, Rob Pollack Concreting and Yass Valley Council.
