A total of 1950 store cattle were penned with young weaner making up the bulk of the yarding.
Cows and calves were in limited supply and quality was lacking around $1320 to $1900. PTIC to $1160 to $1280.
Steers sold to an up down trend with buyers being discerning on quality - 300+kg $1020 to $1280, 250 to 300kg $940-$1100.
Most of the quality pens making $3.65 to $4.10. The heifer run sold to strong competition with good lines of breeder cattle well sought after - 300kg+ $990-$1150, 250-300kg - $760-$860.
Most selling $3.10-$3.70
Buyers came from central west, Goulburn, Albury and Feedlots for the February SELX store sale. .
