Inland Waters Holiday Parks, Burrinjuck Waters, are taking entries for teams that entered in the 2016 competition.
The 2017 event is capped at 450 entrants. As well, due to high demand, teams that entered in 2016 will be given first preference.
Entrants will need to have payment and completed forms in by Saturday, July 1 before the competition is opened up to everyone.
There will be a sign-on day at the Harden Country Club on Wednesday, June 28 at 11am–1pm.
Entry forms are available from the Burrinjuck Waters office. Once again, Burrinjuck Waters State Park will accept cash and forward on the entry forms.
The competition began in 2015 by organiser Stuart Cattanach to honour his best friend Greg Whitehead who died from brain cancer in 2014.
In 2016, more than $20,000 was raised from the fishing challenge and donated to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. That amount was about $6,000 more than 2015’s effort.
