Who are they, really?
In disguise were Beau and Barry O’Mara, members and organisers of the annual Bowning Hill Walk to raise funds for Yass Valley Can Assist.
What’s the occasion?
At Bowning Cafe, the duo has decided to spread the word early about the initiative, set for Sunday September 24 from 10am–3pm.
The O’Maras will also don the getup for the event. The theme is a far cry from 2016 where Barry O’Mara dressed up as a character from The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert.
What’s new this year?
A purpose-built old Bowning Hill town is also being erected at the base of the hill in 2017.
